10th to 13th March Leicester Beer Festival, Charotar Patidar Samaj, Bay St / South Churchgate (off Margarets Way), Leicester Approx 5 min walk from St Margaret’s bus station, 15min walk from London Rd Rail Station. 220+ beers in total, inc fest specials + 30+ Real Ciders/Perries. Our LocAle bars will feat approx 80 beers brewed within 25 miles of Leicester Centre. Authentic Indian curries + English food inc veg choices avail all sessions. Open: Wed 5-11; Thu/Fri 11-11; Sat 11-10. Card-carrying CAMRA members free entry. Souvenir festival glass £2.50 (refundable) must be purchased on entry. - 18th to 21st March. Fat Cat Spring Beer Festival, The Fat Cat, Alma St, Sheffield. It will feature 80 seasonal real ales plus cider & perry virtually all new to the Fat Cat. There will be food available and live music. Entry tickets cost £5 and CAMRA members are being offered a free half pint on production of their membership card when buying a ticket. Opening hours: Thursday 18th 12:00-23:00. Friday 19th 12:00-23:00. Saturday 20th 12:00-23:00. Sunday 21st 12:00-19:00. The venue is easily walkable from the City Centre, alternatively bus 53 (operated by First) runs from the railway station to the nearby Harlequin pub.

The Royal Oak, Naseby, run by CAMRA member Elaine Higgs and her daughter Nicky, is a traditional village free house, which concentrates on providing an ever changing range of real ales both "Locale" and from further afield. Food is not a distraction here, there is none, except a wide range of crisps, nuts etc. Darts and table skittles available, plus during inclement weather a welcoming open fire. During the festival beers will also be available from the stable bar which is also a designated smoking area. Should the weather co-operate (!) there is a large outdoor garden. As public transport in this part of Northamptonshire is pretty dire, Elaine is providing a FREE mini-bus service from Market Harborough to Naseby. Further details on 07985 408240
- 29th April to 3rd May.The Heathcote Arms, Croft Beer Festival, 1st Bank Holiday Beerfest. 15 real ales 3 Ciders. Thursday evening - festival opening and meet the brewer from 6.00 pm. - 6th to 8th May. Poppies Beer Festival, Kettering Town FC, Tinhat Lounge, Kettering. Up to 30 ales + 3 ciders, Food available all sessions. Open Thurs 6pm - Midnight, Friday 5pm - Midnight and Saturday 12 - Midnight. £2.50 admission, includes glass.
