FEBRUARY
oSaturday 4th - Chesterfield Beer Festival. 10.45am train from Loughborough to Chesterfield arriving at 11.35am. Later in the afternoon a 15 minute bus journey to the Hare and Hounds in the village of Barlow. On the return to Chesterfield bus to Brampton and visit the Rose and Crown - a Barlow Brewery pub. Time to visit the Chesterfield Arms or the Royal Oak before departing home on the 20.39pm from Chesterfield and arriving back Loughborough at 21.22pm. o Tuesday 14th - Beer festival meeting. 8pm at the Tap and Mallet
oSunday 26th to Wednesday 29th – set up Loughborough Beer Festival – all help appreciated
MARCH
o1st-3rd March 2012 - 36th Loughborough Beer Festival at The Polish Club, True Lovers Walk, off William Street, Loughborough, Leics,LE11 3DB. Approx 70 beers plus cider and perry. See festival page or www.loughboroughcamra.org.uk for further details including a link to a map.
o Saturday17th - St Neots Beer Festival. Train from Loughborough and Leicester to Bedford, then the express bus to St Neots arriving around 10.55am. Visit the Pig’n’Falcon pub before a short visit to the Beer Festival. The main purpose of the visit to the area is the Chequers at Little Gransden, home to the Son of Side Brewery, over 2 hours here before returning to St Neots and Bedford where we visitThe Wellington Arms and if time The Bedford Arms. oTuesday 20th - Branch meeting and Beer Festival debrief. 8pm at the Tap and Mallet (all welcome)
APRIL
o Saturday 6th April. Easter tour. 10.15am train from Leicester to Peterborough. Working on a new trip
but will still visit the usual beers festivals at The Barge. Hand and Hart and The Green Man at Stamford.

oSaturday 15th or 29th April (TBC). Derbyshire Wayfarer to the Glossop and the Chinley area. 8.45am Train to Sheffield and change for Chinley or New Mills. In the Chinley area visit the Old hall Inn, Navigation at Buxworth and maybe The Lamb in Chinley, At Glossop visit Wheatsheaf (next to the Howard Town Brewery), Star Inn and the Crown Inn.
